1. What are the advantages of the bbq on Q over a normal BBQ? No more ugly, bulky bbq appliance to clutter up your outdoor living area which gathers dirt and dust all year round or needs an unsightly cover to protect it. Your bbq on Q streamlines your outdoor kitchen design and provides secure storage protected from weather.
2. Does the bbq on Q accommodate Natural Gas or LP Bottled Gas? Both types of gas can be connected.
3. What size bbqs are available? The units are available in 3, 4, or 5 burner models. See information on Technical specifications for dimensions.
4. Is the bbq on Q a stainless steel BBQ? Quality stainless steel cooking plate and stainless steel grill with high grade 304 stainless steel housing and knobs are a feature of the Lifestyle bbq units in the BBQ on Q system.
5. What are the safety features of the bbq on Q? Remote control movement is only activated with the remote control button depressed.
The Unit stops immediately the button is released.
A 10 second signal is the maximum movement cycle.
An automatic gas shut-off valve activates when the unit is lowered for storage.
6. What happens if the remote control gets wet? The remote control is designed for outdoor use and is water resistant. Wipe the controller dry before use, although we recommend care and storage in a weatherproof location.
7. Can I get a replacement remote control? Replacement remote control units can be ordered at additional cost. Reprogramming instructions are available here.
8. What power supply is required for the bbq on Q? All units plug in with a standard 10 amp 240V AC plug.
9. What kind of finishes can be used on the outdoor kitchen counter top? You are only limited by your imagination. Popular choices are Caesar stone, wood, stainless steel, Hi- Macs acrylic and ceramic tile.
10. What warranties do I have? The BBQ on Q uses renowned quality Australian Lifestyle bbqs manufactured from high grade stainless steel and are an established product manufacturing in Australia since 1976. The BBQ appliance is guaranteed for 25 years. Somfy Remote control units are recognised as world leaders in automation control. All BBQ on Q units are quality engineered and are provided with a 24 month warranty period. Other appliances included in Outdoor Kitchen packages have manufacturer's warranties included.

The Outdoor Kitchen packages contain bench and cabinetry, Lifestyle 4 burner stainless steel BBQ with pop up remote control and appliances as detailed in package.
